: Poor Technical & Sales Experience.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Our company has been dealing with Activsolution for several years due to their technical expertise. Unfortunately, their technical advises showing negative solution since few months back. Their solutions are full of shit. Thanks god that we have several backup IT vendors like Computlink Sdn Bhd, Wehaya Infotech Sdn Bhd, and Accton Computer Systems.
We would like to complain Activsolution for providing unsatisfactory and inexperienced sales & services to clients and to reduce other customers to be victimized.
1) Ink Cartridges bought from activsolution causing blockage of print-head nozzle. When checked with other computer firms, they used a piece of tinted firm to check and confirmed that those ink cartridges are Non Genuine.
>> When checked with the salesman, they were saying that those canon products was supplied by WT Excellence and assumed genuine because WT Excellence is the sole distributor for Canon. Please investigate whether WT Excellence is selling Canon Genuine Products. We shall highlight to the respective channel to investigate based on the information given by activsolution.
2) The HP Toner and ink cartridges for HP DeskJet and HP designjet are also Non Genuine according the other computer firms. They used same method similar to the canon tinted film to scan through the HP toner and ink cartridges sold by activsolution.
>> After printed for 10-20 pages, there are lines and printout faded. The worst case was it spoilt the carriage assembly and print head of the plotter. And also causing toner leakage to the internal printer which damaged the heating element and rollers. When requested to clean, they need addition charges. Those leakage caused by their toner, and clients are to be blamed for causing damaged to the toner.
>> When complained to sales person, they escalated to their technical department and the repair cost was very high. As being informed by their technical department, they have to send to others for repair.
>> Based on the information provided by activsolution, they sourced those HP cartridges from Computlink Sdn Bhd.
>> Activsolution was well known in Technical Expertise but recently their services are damn poor. They can’t even solved minor problem like paper jam while printing, pc intermittently hang, data loss after sending printing command, UPS intermittent no backup during power failure, just to name a few.
3) Our business partners also complaining their poor technical solution. When sent a HP LaserJet printer for repair, they quoted RM1200. When sent to other vendors, they charged RM380 to get it repaired. Just image RM1200 can get a new unit nowadays.
4) Their pricing are non standard. They have 2 pricing tags, one price from sales, and another price from technical which is damn higher. What is the main function of joining Computer Association since they have their on way of doing business?
5) Their technical department not willing to provide service after working hours. Have to pay additional 30%-50% based on hourly basis. We foresee this is not the right way to do business.
6) Due to expensive charges, their staffs are willing to reduce it but payable to personal accounts. As a professional customer, we are not interested to due with personal interests due to their unprofessional skills. Who will take full responsibility if they are unable to solve it? Customers may have to pay extra to look for other computer firms like what is happening now.
7) Those salesmen have poor sales experience. Not be able to provide further answer when required. Unlike Wehaya Infotech, Accton and Computlink, they really have good Sales experience. Furthermore the prices are cheaper.
8) Please take note of their Delivery Order / Invoice; items delivered are difference from quotation earlier. When clients complained, they gave reason like typing mistakes as the general clerk is still fresh.
9) Another feedback from our account department, one of our subsidiaries dealing in wood working, complaining that one of their sales person, Mr.Petrus, which has a bad smelly mouth. However, I am not interested to comment on this little boy.
10) Several of our business partners complaining that the network cables supplied by Activsolution are found to be Non-Genuine, especially AMP’s Brand. They compared it with the one supplied by Microshop, which is totally difference based on the quality of transfer rate, cable thickness and shielded sleeve.
11) Another case that makes the customers fade-up is the warranty items. When sent for warranty, being informed that the standard warranty is 3 months only instead of 1-3 years as per verbal communication.

You, as a chairman of the computer association, please spend a bit of time to consider the above and find the right resolution to sort it out. The above shall be categorized as White-Collar Crime.
We will highlight the above to the popular channels if you are unable to clarify and resolve those issues.
